15:10 ET Walt Disney (DIS) 32.48 -0.82 (-2.5%): -- Technical -- The new summer blockbuster movie "Pearl Harbor" was panned in the morning papers which triggered a technical breakdown below its its 200 day simple ma and a chart barrier at (33/32.7). Thus far it has held at a solid support near 32 (April range top/20 day simple ma) but without sustained action back above the average over the very short term, it will remain vulnerable to further decay.




14:43 ET Events Calendar : Sun Microsystems (SUNW) will hold its mid-quarter update Tuesday afternoon. As noted in 8:45 comment, Bear Stearns (in Ripple Effect note) does not expect SUNW to talk down numbers. The other big event next week is the CSFB Semiconductor and Semi Equipment Conference, which begins on Wednesday.
