What the Fed is doing is in direct contradiction of the way free markets are supposed to work, probably contrary to the charter of the Fed - and definitely very dangerous. You probably only care about the dangerous part, so here it is. Stocks are still very high priced. And the impact of Fed rate cuts is negligible. If Greenspan's attempts to re-create the bubble fail - or even become too transparent - the integrity of our entire monetary system could come into question.
