Hi Patrick, I was flipping through the cable tv channels...on C-span they had a re-run of a meeting on Wed that was between a few congressmen, and some NIH directors...the subject was the NIH budget for 2002...they mentioned stem cells (too bad, I only caught the tail end). One of the problems that the researchers mentioned was the number of stem cells available for clinical benefit, was too low. Maybe this meeting contributed to ASTMs run...they have a machine in trials that amplifies the quantity of stem cells (one potential solution to that problem, if it works)...BWDIK? aastrom.com Have a great long weekend...I'm just going to relax, as I woke up today sick...so no ASGT meeting for me(I was about to purchase everything today, on the bright side it will save me ~2K in travel expenses).
