You do not thank people for reparations. They are not a gift, and, in any case, could never be sufficient to redress the enormity of the Holocaust. Reparations are not, and I repeat NOT, being paid by the NAZI party but by many people who were not even born or just children when the atrocities occurred. Should the Japanese be paying the US reparations because their emperor and warlords attacked us? Should they be shelling out money to the citizens of Guam? Do we make a play on numbers? The nation that lost the most people should be the one receiving the most reparations? No! There is only one answer.... BITE THE BULLET AND FORGIVE. Chris
