A more appropriate depiction of Longs and Shorts is that Longs are BUILDERS. They invest in a stock, nurture it and watch it blossom one day. Shorts on the other hand are DESTROYERS. Just like scavenging roaches they swarm on a limping pray and suck every last drop of blood out of it until only a dry carcass remains.

Now which of the two would you rather be?
