hi tc re, "I'm declaring the new ZoneAlarm (2.6.88) a success" okay, i joined you in installing the upgrade this evening. i figured since i was bringing on the new blackice, i should bring on the new zonealarm. <g3> thank you for your 'testing' of the product for us, and for reporting your findings to the thread. sometimes i'm okay with being out there on the point, but other times i like it when it's you out there! so far so good with za2.6.88... no settings were lost and i'm not experiencing any rash of new alerts asking for permissions. :) mark
