Yes, it is a tragic mistake. Obviously this is one of your hot-button issues. Like I said, it's been pretty much off my radar screen. I've never in my life known a cop personally. Neither have I ever known a criminal personally (unless you want to count one guy who refused induction and served time). All I know is what I see on TV. I try to avoid having opinions on things I know nothing about so I'm really not a suitable foil for you in this discussion. I have just two opinions in this matter. One is that we should pay cops more. Number two I already stated: if you fire 41 times at anyone you should expect a backlash. Karen
