no way in hell does recovery happen as quickly as decline we slowed down in "internet time" to be sure but to ramp up, ceo's need: - assurances of renewed demand (not softening) - reversal in consumer confidence (not wallowing) - wider profit margins (not shrinking) - brisker movement of inventory (not giveaways to clear aisles) sorry, this is gonna take a long time perhaps by Sept/Oct we might have clearer visibility 6-9 months out if the market can get excited about a fogdream 2ndHalf Recovery in April/May, it can EASILY get exuberant about a 2002 festival economically but in the meantime, some cold water on the face this late spring/ early summer each time we get horrible economic news, we hear "worst is here" but worser is coming soon, just like b2b chip index of under 0.50 / jim
