NEM fork

I'm not completely happy with this one.
The lower tine was violated several times in ways that would normally suggest to me that it is dead. However, the resulting action shows the lower tine as a main support line ..

Very little activity around the center and upper tine .. again factors which would tend to support the idea that this tine isn't working very well.

The center tine seems to be functioning as a high of day resistance line. So it would seem that a intraday breach of that line, on it's way up, would be a buy for this one. As would a breach of the lower tine on it's way down.

Given how this fork acts toward the center tine, it would seem to me that an intraday touch of the upper tine would be a time to take profits. And a touch of the center tine might also be profit taking time.

Of course .. all of this is not a recommendation, but rather how I would play this fork.

homestead.com

NEM had a small pop in price a couple of days before the start up in move of the XAU and HM. This causes me to have the starting center a little earlier than on this one than the others.

If I use the same center start date as for the XAU and HM I get this fork:

homestead.com

Because of the center starting point, this fork is slightly nonstandard for me. However it seems to describe the resulting market much better. I have to wonder if the price of NEM had been artificially suppressed for a couple of days in mid Feb..
