Chuck S - RE: ("demagogues are going to see to it... that tax bill is history") The media gives equal or greater attention to the minority opposition to this tax bill making it sound like passage was a close call or some kind of Presidential dirty trick. Remember, centrist democrat support for the bill resulted in almost 60% votes in favor of passage in both houses of congress. Also, once signed into law, IMHO politicians attempting to repeal this bill will have to face the head-winds of overwhelming popular opinion in favor of this tax reduction. Thus, I'm more optimistic than you are. P
