I prefer an accumulation-distribution reading at these extended points. My favorite is one I wrote ;-), Farley's ADA. Look how it rolled 3 bars before price did:

To be truthful, I didn't notice the ADA until after the breakdown started. I was concentrating on the NR7 Coiled Spring. I'll trade that in either direction. I did put a sell limit in the day the break started, but it was too conservative and didn't get filled.

Strange personal observation: I've been doing more countertrend trading right now than any time in the last 5 years. You know, find something to sell short on big rally days, etc. Very successful too.
