A very interesting post on AOL lists all the various holding companies controlled by Bramson that participated in the sale of the stock, apparently due to being able to meet bond obligations due on one of the holdings which if not paid could have caused loss of control. Evidently the man just needed some cash, nothing else. What I find most interesting is that some of the other Ampex directors bought relatively good quantities from Bramsom et. al. at the same range of prices when they also have rights to buy at $3.38 at anytime. Do they expect a quick return on their new investments?
