Thank you for your optimism. I, like you, am a loyal and long time fan of Borland. I too have been watching Borland and wanted a piece of this company. I loaded up @ 13, 11, 9, and yesterday at 8. I just checked the stock and it was at 7 3/8. I'm beginning to get a little queasy.

But - I know they have probably have the most talented Software Engineers in the business. They consistantly bring to market the most innovative products for the Industry. A Bean Counter at the helm has no vision other than myoptic. Remember Palo Alto? Xerox could have owned the entire computer industry but lacked the insight and instinct to see what it had it it's grasp.

Borland needs another Phillippe (with leash). Someone who has an instinct and working knowledge of the business. Wall Street will like another Bean Counter.
