Of course, the Paul really is right about the guy seeming to be clueless. What is all this about wafer thickness? I thought 0.18-micron and 0.25-micron etc. referred to the size of lithography features.

Similarly, he presents SOI as altering the thermal characteristics of the wafer. While this is perhaps true, the purpose of SOI is to alter the electrical characteristics of the wafer.
