Hi Earlie,

Some information gleaned from out inflationless paradise of the north.
It seems the retail sector is of two minds, in dealing with a slowdown, that I see on a daily basis in my pharmacy. Those with a powerful marketing presence(read S.D.M.), have very recently instituted significant price increases on low recognition items. Those less well placed, are relying on price cuts on high recognition items. In all cases, a very recent phenomenon.
Hope this adds to your overall perspective.
