This would be especially true if IBM were to replace all their Xeon based servers with Sledgehammer based servers, which could very well be the case if IBM is a major foundry for AMD processors. When pigs fly. What are you guys smoking, anyway? Relatively speaking, IBM's server division doesn't give a rat's a** about IBM's semiconductor division. Since Gerstner took over, it's been like, sell your mother's house if it makes money. No love lost between divisions. IBM is going to desert the gorilla for the chimp, right!
