Just got back from "Pearl Harbor" and looking for a movie thread on SI and found this thread. Surprised to find out your first post picked "Babette's Feast" That's one of my favorite, too. Saw that movie few times. The last time I saw, it hit me... Babette's wasting all her fortune, 10,000 Franc, on villagers which only had plain fish soup for all their life ...was love, like divine love...
