When you access your Exchange e-mail is it being encrypted all the way out to the hand-held? If not, most companies with good security policies would consider that a major security violation. You shouldn't have corporate e-mail flying around the Internet and wireless networks unencrypted. And the encryption provided by wireless modems only secures the data over the wireless network, not the Internet.

End-to-end encryption is an inherent feature of the Blackberry and one reason why it's being so well-received by the government and corporations right now.
