A creed is a spiritual compass. A non-contradictory synopsis of all your views that is recited, chanted or read daily. Some people face east and kneel on prayer mats others in Washington D.C. have morning prayer sessions. It's to purge your mind of trivia and allow you to focus on what matters. It's an encomium to God.
