Bill, I have not read all of Rambus patents, nor am I qualified to determine if their original patent covered SDRAM and DDR concepts or not, I am not sure how you come up to that conclusion since the only support for that is a controversial Markman decision by Payne (at least controversial to me). By the way, if you want to keep the "first to invent" ground rule in US patent law, you'd better write your congress men of your desire since the "big business" lobby has been trying for the last five years to get the US patent system to the same to "first to file" status. A bunch of small inventors have banded together to try and stem that flood and we can get all the help anyone is willing to offer. Zeev
