Zeev, It is very true that the first to file can indeed offer protection to thieves, however what happens if that happens? I invent something and someone thieves it and I am able to prove it? What is the patent status as the person has claimed he invented it and I have show I invented it? or is the first to file the defacto inventor?

If that happens there will be thousands upon thousands of inventions stolen by employees etc as once stolen they are home free.
In addition they need to stop the backdate addition of things to patents
