Not again.
Why does child molestation always come up in discussions of religious morality by the religiously inclined?
Do we not have loads of examples of Catholic priests abusing children? Yes, we do. How about religious leaders at youth camps? Yes, we do. Clearly religion isn't the answer to preventing child abuse. In fact the power the church gives a priest gives him the power to abuse children, and the church protects it's criminal priests. Blech.

We've got lots of data on Christians abusing their children and other people's children. I read quite a few cases on this area, and in fact did my moot court argument on where parental rights leave off and child abuse begins- in the context of religious freedom. I wonder if atheists and agnostics are less likely to abuse children? Now that would be interesting wouldn't it? I've already heard from E that atheists and agnostics are underrepresented in prisons.
