A balanced budget amendment would be completely foolish. There are times when a country must add to debt... say for war... so it should not be outlawed in any way. I hate to make the comparison, as they s/b 2 completely different ideologies, but I wonder how many businesses would succeed if they could never borrow money? - Zen
