Hi Jack and thanks for getting back to me. Both CPN and DYN, the stocks I follow in this group, aren't doing so great technically. On their p&f charts they are both breaking uptrend lines and have price objectives $5-10 below current prices. I again view DYN's chart to be in better shape than CPN relative strength wise and for that reason I'm still in the stock.

Zacks Investment Research Focus List which is the main fundamental screen that I use for stocks, is still very bullish on DYN's prospects and the stock rates very well for upward earnings revisions. DYN also has a Zacks Rank of 1 which is their best rating.

CPN also has a Zacks Rank of 1 and has performed better YTD than DYN (+9% to -10%). If I wasn't in Dynegy, I'd probably be in CPN, especially after the weakness that I expect in the shorter term. I too am a long term investor and look to hold stocks for at least a years time and hopefully longer.
