I'll stick my 1 cents worth in here. The GATA thing I agree with. Even if they are right I don't think it means much. If, and that's a big if, the people lose faith in paper money, and/or get really excited about owning gold, the price could soar. There was no shortage of dot coms either. Like most fads, it's a perception thing.
