ng, Some interesting tidbits from a Dell user who lurks:

We 've been buying exclusively Dell system ( workstations and servers ) and until recently they were rock solid. The last year or so they are the crappiest system we've ever seen. We had a batch of i820 based systems that were actually recalled by Dell because they were constantly crashing/freezing even though they were populated with Rambus memory ( no SDRAM ). This latest batch we have is i815 based and they are ok under NT but under Win2K the video has the most horrible quality ( even with the latest Dell/Intel drivers ). I was wondering if you are willing to post this info on the AMD/Intel SI boards.

I have asked him for some more details and I will post as received.

Bill
