Joe: The market has not told us it's final vote, and it never does
implying the market told us or even that the market is right, is
one of the tricks that you learn from watching to much CNBC.
AOL is about as worthless as the tits on a male hog, that a handfull
of brain dead fund managers bought into her damm sure does not
speak for the market..AOL is not held by the broad market..lessen
number one; any time 50% or more of any company is tied up by
institutional investers, forget the balberdash about the market
voted this way or that way. Institutionl investors are a part of
the market..but seldfom represent it, as owernship percetage wise
goes up , and a stock starts resting more in their hands, it takes
on a life that reflets that of the institutions that own her..
and by the way even most money managers will tell you 80% of
the funds under preform the market. That they have not taken AOL
out behind the barn yet don't mean it isn't going to happen.
If your still nieve enough to belive that Wall Street is honest
your in for some unpleasent suprises in the future..by and large
the only honor the have is the honor that trives amoung theives,
Most of Wall Steert has values and ethics, that are not as good
as thoes of your average "bookie" or "pimp", and that goes for
most of the News Media that does the coverage..the shoe shine
"boys" for the "pimps"..does this sound depressing or negitive,
well go back to sleep..and don't let it distube you. <G>
As for the share holders of compuserve looking for some
salvation by being be bought out by AOL, for "stock" no less
they have to be desperate. Csvr would be a good buy if AOL could get
her for even a $25 value "useing AOL stock"..but I'm not sure it
would be a good deal for the CSVR shareholders..unless they
took advantage of the temporary insanity of it all and bailed
out on the rally. CSVR has more assest "real value" than AOL
does..she ought to be buying AOL..not the other way around,
I'm not long either one but if I were I would rather be long
CSVR. than this bag of hot air.
