I learned more French one week in Quebec a few years ago than I did in school and English is my 1st language. The Gravelbourg area is a very old French community. The most beautiful place on the grasslands this time of year is the Sweetgrass area of Montana, Fort Benton, Great Falls... The sage is just starting to come out and the smells are intoxicating. I believe you posted something on the "Elian Thread" a long while back about a friend of yours that worked on some Federal issues with the Canadian government and everything had to be translated into French. It neatly encapsulated how ridiculous our language laws are here. I wish I had saved that post.
