Cable companies were originally valued based on "homes passed", not subscribers. Thie market cannot ignore a franchise for long, especially since the MS Internet Index has broken its September-April downtrend.

...just in time for Barron's featuring Mary Meeker on its cover this week.

Anyone who has a copy of her 1995 "The Internet Report" should read it again.
