Gambler or Investor?

It is not a matter of if KKD will go back to a normal p/e ratio... just when... while I am not short this issue and just fascinated by speculator run up... I would be MUCH more alarmed by buying at these levels and watching 50% of my investment erode over the next coming months. In case you are new to investing there is an adage "Buy on Rumor and Sell on News"... CNBC hyped this stock into a frenzy in the absence of any other good news to cover, and with earnings growth ( duh... they expanded with the money they got selling stock... hmmmm... duh - wait a few quarters and see how the accounting plays out... it helps to understand business and accounting practices more than hot press releases )

KKD now has a p/e of over 130 - in common sense terms, that means that it will take KKD 130 years at the current earnings levels to equal the share price... folks, nobody is going to live that long... if you are buying KKD or any stock with these kinds of absurd ratio's - YOU ARE GAMBLING and NOT INVESTING

I have watched my neighbors lose big time to greed... buying at absurd prices and feeling on top of the world when the stuff went even higher..

CMGI/QCOM/AMZN/SEPR - there are a TON of big ones out that that were hyped to amazing proportions... and they are taking a dirt nap now... and may NEVER return to previous levels...

ok.. they hype is almost over.. now what? I will tell you newbies.. that when this thing starts selling.. you better just place your order to sell at market because the line is going to be really long to get the heck out... LOL

(Voluntary Disclosure: Position- No Position; ST Rating- Strong Sell; LT Rating- Strong Sell)
