You say,

“I grew up - with dirt poor people and partied with the filthy rich.”

I take offence in your statement, but at the same time send you my condolence.

As I personally grew up dirt poor in a vacation town in Northern California, and I serving food and pumping gas during the summer to the local tourist from San Francisco, (Napa Valley in the 60s/70s). I now find it ironic that we are even in the same sphere of existence.

I had thought with your greater advantage in life, that you and your type would have been so successful by now, you would hardly have even spoke / written to someone like myself. But here we are, and “You are advising the Lurker”.

I would have thought that your family would have left you with enough to make a killing the first year out of colleague, and that you would have retired to the Bahamas by now.

“Nowhere is this work ethic more prevalent than the ones born with a silver spoon in their mouths”.
