hardly a definition of a "useful" financial system. This I'd rather call "misuseable"

I subscribe to orthogonality for several reasons:

a) there's always one more additional dimension in the situation which you should not overlook

b) being a non-opposing, amiable character, I always lose in black&white dialogues (but who does not except ... the other side). So I parry by moving out of the plane. To the far side.

c) as a physicist and European I love the idea of orthogonal spaces (see Descartes etc). They're so elegant and "close to reality" ;^

d) Out-of-plane-view aka humor is something essential to human existence - "when God created man, she was only joking"-kind of approach.
