In our world of constantly advancing scientific technology, don't you think that in 50, 100, 200 years, we'll have figured out a way to neutralize nuclear waste? Look at everything else we're doing now: human genome, nanotechonolgy, microelectronics, cloning, etc...why would the study of nuclear waste be any different? Pretty shortsighted to believe it would.
