USA Video Interactive to Provide Mohegan Sun Casino With Streaming Media Services
MYSTIC, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 29, 2001--Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, one of the largest and most spectacular casinos in the United States, has contracted USA Video Interactive (OTCBB: USVO; CDNX: US; www.usvo.com) to provide Internet streaming media technology services to commence with the encoding and streaming of the 15-minute ``Mohegan Sun Virtual Tour.'' Additional services covered under this agreement may include streaming services for product advertisements; announcements and promotions; rich media emails and other services.
The ``Mohegan Sun Virtual Tour'' will be accessible from the Mohegan Sun website (www.mohegansun.com) and provides a preview of the world-class gaming, entertainment and meeting facilities at Mohegan Sun. Featuring an extraordinary Mohegan-themed design, unlike any other in the industry, Mohegan Sun is one of the most unique casinos in the world.
Mohegan Sun will incorporate the phrase ``Powered by USVO'' into its website homepage at the link to the virtual tour. USVO will host three bandwidth versions of the video (56kbps, 100kbps, and 300kbps) and is licensing use of its patents to Mohegan Sun as part of this project. Other details of the one-year, renewable contract are proprietary.
