The LAN would be extremely slow....it would take forever...but it can be done,..... Have the same problem. My mp3 files on a notebook which doesn't have a USB port....and my husband's notebook does, but is missing for most of the day... So rather than torture myself with the chores involved with the transfer, i have decided to live with the napster music and not burn cds...
