The LAN would be extremely slow....it would take forever...but it can be done,..... I was figuring on doing the transfer while I wasn't around....I figure that for 16 hours on the average day, I can't be at my home PC (8 hours asleep and 8 hours or more at work), so I could just highlight a whole slew of files to be transferred during those times, and within a few days it would be done. I don't have any experience with home networks though....do the transfers have to be attended, or would it work the way I am describing?
