Backers vow to revive measure

CARSON CITY -- A bill that would have made Nevada the first state to offer regulated and legal Internet gaming died in the Senate on Monday, the victim of what one lawmaker called political machinations.

Assembly leaders and the Nevada Resort Association vowed to bring the proposal back before the end of the session, however.
