This may help launch the Mouse:

Looks like Hercules is gonna be big(ger than recent animated features) and that #1 ConAir should have little competition from the universally panned "Speed 2-(the Real Titanic)" this weekend.

"Winning 'Hercules' Flexes Comic Muscle" - usatoday.com

"Furiously fast and fiendishly funny, Disney's 35th animated feature, Hercules (3 1/2 out of four), outlines its musical-comedy agenda pronto. Even its villainous super-schmoozer Hades, well-ignited by the neurotic natterings of James Woods, would appreciate such get-to-the-pointedness."

"'Speed 2' Runs Out of Steam" - usatoday.com

"Sandra Bullock is disconcertingly dizzy in the mostly speedless Speed 2: Cruise Control (1 1/2 out of four), a waterlogged sequel that'll soon be bottom-feeding with Beyond the Poseidon Adventure. Willem Dafoe (really popping his crazy pills here) plays the villain, and Jason Patric shows up, too. Kind of."

"This costly "Die Hard on a cruise ship" may finally kill the genre before we're reduced to "Die Hard in a refrigerator."

BTW, I saw "Speed2" lead Jason Patric on "Charlie Rose" last night and he came across as a dolt trying to sound intelligent. In retrospect, he stands to do the seemingly impossible, make Keanu Reeves look smart by refusing that disaster movie disaster.
