a VERY interesting commentary by Noland this week...note especially Soros comments on the derivatives game: prudentbear.com so the GSEs can balloon their balance sheet ten times faster than the overall economy's growth forever? because that's what one has to believe (inter alia) if one is doubting the eventual doomsday scenario...and the dudes on the other side of their 1.4 trillion bucks in rate hedges are of course immune against default... it reminds one a bit of the nonsensical argument that Cisco would have revenue growth of 50% annualized forever...the bulls always forget the law of large numbers.
