I have had the opinion for a while that the year end rebound isn't going to happen. What with the Energy problems, and dropping employment and all, I feel that it will be early 2002 instead of q4, 2001 that will see a rebound, if that soon. Of course, I can be wrong too, but I am seeing too many signs that are affecting the economies of the world. Energy is the biggie I see. Or should I say price gouging by energy companies...well anyway, I am all short in my margin account and don't see many longs short term that I want to invest in. That is not to say that there aren't stocks OK to be long on. There will always be some stocks taking off, I just don't know about them right now. Of course, I'm not looking too hard for them with all of the inflated CRAP stocks out there right now.
