Thanks for the explanation. It seemed from your original post that inflation and deflation are co-existent, which is rather funky even for this thread.

So, what is Greenspan doing wrong here? Would you rather have Heinz as the US Fed Chariman when there will be no inflation all right, but perpetual Great Depression will be the norm?
