Bob, It might be due to the buzz created by the CEO of Take Two Interactive (TTWO) Kelly Sumner, who appeared on CNBC's 'Power Lunch' today. Sumner apparently talked about consolidation in the video game industry. Interplay (IPLY) for example, is in talks with somebody, ERTS has been rumored, because they are in financial trouble. Microsoft has already given IPLY 100 million cash advance to develop games exclusively for the XBox. IPLY and 3DO might be a pretty good fit. There's all kinds of speculation out there.
