Hi Shaw. I'll take a stab at this, too.

I am using the +DI crossing above the -DI as a buy signal (along with other things).

And the reverse, a -DI crossing above the +DI as a sell signal (along with other things).

On this RIM chart

anyone who shorted RIM when the -DI crossed above the +DI in late January, would be a happy camper.

So, for the next few days,

a)Bullish - I'd want the +DI to stop descending and possibly start climbing again, and the -DI the reverse of that.

b)Bearish - I'd want the +DI to keep descending, the -DI to keep rising, and the -DI to cross over the +DI.
