Well, after further evaluation, it appears a turn should have happened earlier this afternoon, but it didn't or was totally lame.

I'm unsure right now if I'm going to close my puts or hold them for another run down. The bounce we're looking for may happen and go only up slightly above 2200. The action at the close indicated there was very little conviction that we should go up, only that there should be a pause before going down further. The TRINQ showed a turn about 3:15, and the TICKQ actually hit -400 earlier in the afternoon. The VXN still shows complacency.

I guess in retrospect, our bounce may have started earlier this afternoon, but it may not get its legs until tomorrow morning. It is a lame bounce, however. I doubt the COMPX goes below 2160 tomorrow morning.

This points to a possibility that we may not bounce off 2095 the first time we hit it, possibly early next week.
