FT had an article about Aranesp a while ago. According to FT's interpretation, Aranesp is not much better than Neupogen/Procrit:

Even with Aranesp being a blockbuster, AMGN looks expensive. Also PDLI and HGSI appear very expensive to me. These are big cap "must have" stocks. I do not like shorting small cap stocks since they can run violently against you. IMNR has a very checkered past with a few bombs and may be a good short because it gets hyped once in a while.
Big cap stocks are much safer to short, IMHO. I do not have a short position in the biotech sector open right now (never had...)
