This guy has the most rational take on diets I've come across. The Blood Type Diet is different for each type, but one interesting aspect is the O diet is very similar to the Atkins diet. That the Atkins diet is pretty successful is no mystery as 47% of people have O blood. My wife wanted to be a vegetarian but gave this diet a chance and has made some major improvements in overall well-being. Specific things that happened to me were better dental check-ups; no bleeding during cleanings and healthier tissue, elimination of GERD and arthritic-type pains and stabilized weight. Over a period of time food cravings for "bad" foods declined. I occasionally couldn't give blood before because my iron level was too low. Now it's no problem. He's written 3 books and has a web site.
