Hi Darleen, Now that I have more time, here's an interesting story about the Chairman of GOU, Earl Joudrie you might enjoy. Earl's wife Dorothy was and is a wealthy Calgary socialite. She has very powerful friends and a seemingly unlimited supply of money. 6 years ago Earl's wife shot him six times in the back with a .25-calibre Berretta handgun. She spent 5 months in a psychiatric hospital after being found not criminally responsible for her actions. She claimed years of abuse and a final fight caused her to snap. The jury overlooked the fact that before Earl came home that day, she took the gun normally kept in her upstairs closet and placed it in a drawer close to the garage where she shot him. albertareport.com You wont see it in any reports, but most of the Joudrie children know she got away with a cold blooded murder attempt.
