GZ I'm not very knowledgeable using Word but I tried looking up the answer for you. There's probably an easier way but this worked for me. It depends on how you are inserting the page numbers. If you used View/Header and Footer and then inserted page numbering all you have to do is select the numbering and hit the delete button. If you used Insert/Page Number you have to go to View/Header and Footer and be very precise in clicking the page number around the edge til you see this. home.midsouth.rr.com Now click around the edge again til your mouse pointer turns into a four-headed arrow and click and it will look like this home.midsouth.rr.com Hit the delete key on your keyboard and you should be fixed up. tc
