Get your head out of the brain washing you received in your years of school grow up and think independently for a change

LOL... funny, I thought I was taught "Capitalism is THE solution to all our economic worries...." throughout highschool and college?? Sorry, but I'm not the one who is brainwashed, and I seem to be the only one here w/ an independent mind.

We spend over 50 billion dollars a year just trying to comply with the tax system

That is probably true... but it is necessary. Are you proposing that we get rid of taxes completely?? How will you pay for police officers, traffic lights, etc?

Would you like to know how much money is wasted on advertising and marketing in the "efficient" private sector?? Do you know how much is spent to keep workers OUT of our country??

we cannot expect that the government just once in a decade spend less or organize itself to be efficient.

Somewhat true again, but I'm not as pessimistic as most, and I don't prescribe government solutions to everything. Clinton/Gore overhauled government quite a bit, and so can anyone w/ the desire to. In fact, government has become quite capable requiring bids on projects by the private sector, and reviewing those bids quite well. Hopefully we will see more and more of this, where government identifies a problem, and allows the private sector to solve it efficiently.
