I was hoping to get into XOM in the low 80's, but on this news I bought today ay 89 1/2.

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 30, 2001--The Board of Directors of Exxon Mobil
Corporation (NYSE:XOM) today declared an additional cash dividend of two cents per share on the
Common Stock and a 2-for-1 stock split.

The record date for both the additional dividend and the stock split is June 20, 2001. The cash
dividend is payable on July 11, 2001, on each share held on the record date before giving effect to the
stock split. The 2-for-1 stock split will result in each shareholder receiving one additional share for
each share held on the record date. The additional shares will be distributed beginning on July 18,
2001.

The cash dividend of two cents ($0.02) a share is additional to the second quarter dividend of 44 cents
per share payable on June 11, 2001. The Board will consider the regular third quarter dividend on July
25, 2001.
